Five Essential Health & Safety Awareness Courses in One Day
Our Multi Awareness Training course brings together five essential health and safety awareness subjects into one comprehensive day of training. It’s designed for operatives, supervisors and employers who need practical, legally relevant awareness across the most common workplace and construction site risks.
During the course, delegates will complete training in Asbestos Awareness, Fire Marshal / Fire Safety Awareness, Abrasive Wheels, Working at Height with Ladder Safety, and Manual Handling. Each subject is individually certified, with certificates valid for two years, giving you recognised proof of competence across multiple safety areas.
The training focuses on real-world risks, current legislation, and practical control measures, helping delegates understand not just what the risks are, but how to work safely, follow best practice, and meet their responsibilities on site or in the workplace.
Asbestos Awareness
This training will cover:
The properties of asbestos and it’s effects on health, including its interaction with smoking.
The types of products or materials likely to contain asbestos.
The operations which could result in asbestos exposure and the importance of preventive controls to minimise exposure.
Safe work practices.
Control measures.
Protective Equipment (PPE).
What you can and cannot do.
Emergency procedures.
Fire Marshall/Fire Safety Awareness
This training outlines the responsibilities of a fire warden and provides guidance on how to perform their duties. It includes:
The main requirements of the current fire safety legislation.
The role and responsibility of fire wardens.
Action in the event of a fire.
Evacuation Procedures.
What to do in the event of a fire.
Types of extinguisher and their safe application and use.
Hazard spotting.
Fire precaution measures.
Fire science basics.
Abrasive Wheels Awareness
This online training course raises awareness of the dangers associated with abrasive wheels and the practical steps that can be taken to minimise and control the risks that they present.
The course covers what an abrasive wheel is, key legislation and guidance, the common hazards, selection and handling of wheels, safe use of wheels, the use of personal protective equipment and respiratory protective equipment and controlling the risk posed by dust.
Working at Height with Ladder Safety
This awareness course is aimed at anyone who undertakes work at height, or who employs people who regularly work at height and/or use ladders
The course covers topics including the dangers of working at height, the regulations, the hierarchy of controls, assessing risk and much more.
Manual Handling Course
Upon completion of this course, you will:
Understand the reasons for safer manual handling.
Understand how manual handling risk assessments contribute to improving health and safety.
Understand the principles, types of equipment and testing requirements associated with Manual Handling safety.
