Fresh Wharf, London: Health & Safety Consultancy Support

28 January 2026 |

Mast Safety is providing ongoing health and safety consultancy support on the Fresh Wharf redevelopment project in central London.

The scheme forms part of a major retrofit of an existing riverside office building near Tower Bridge, delivered by Mace as principal contractor. Mast Safety has been appointed by specialist contractor Century Facades, who are carrying out façade works as part of the wider refurbishment.

Ongoing Health and Safety Consultancy Support

Acting as Century Facades’ appointed health and safety support throughout the duration of the project, providing continuous consultancy from pre-construction through to completion. This includes advising on project-specific health and safety arrangements, reviewing construction phase health and safety documentation, and supporting the implementation of appropriate control measures for façade installation activities.

Support is delivered with a clear understanding of the practical demands of façade works within a constrained urban environment. Advice is pragmatic, proportionate, and focused on supporting safe and efficient delivery, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, principal contractor requirements, and client expectations, while integrating effectively with the wider project team.

Project context

Fresh Wharf is a large-scale office refurbishment project within the City of London, involving the transformation of an existing multi-storey building into a modern, sustainability-focused workplace overlooking the River Thames. The project is targeting high environmental and wellbeing standards and is scheduled for completion in 2026.

Supporting safe delivery in complex environments

This project demonstrates Mast Safety’s ability to support specialist subcontractors operating on major construction projects, working collaboratively with principal contractors and supply chains to maintain high standards of health and safety on site.

Our hands-on approach helps contractors manage risk effectively while keeping programmes moving — even on technically challenging, high-profile developments.
